Biography
Sulo Karlsson is one of Sweden’s most prolific singer/songwriters .He started he’s professional career in the early 90’s when he teamed with producer Max Martin.A collaboration that gave him his first record deal as the lead singer and songwriter for the Swedish glamrockers Diamond Dogs.
Since then Sulo’s been working and touring with several artists such as Ian Hunter, Hanoi Rocks, Chris Spedding, Paul Young, Terry Reid, Wilko Johnson, Crystal Gayle, Janis Ian etc.
He formed the UK band The Crunch together with Terry Chimes (Clash), Dave Tregunna (Sham 69) & Mick Geggus (Cockney Rejects) in 2012.
He’s songwriting range spreads pop to heavy rock n roll and melodic punk to country, soul, blues and jazz.
He’s also an author with 5 books so far and he’s done 4 albums where he put music to other authors poetry including Ernst Brunner, Garry Johnson etc.
